19. Ohakune Coach Road

NZ HISTORIC PLACES TRUST

From 1906-1908 coaches transported rail passengers from Ohakune to Raurimu, pending the completion of the Main Trunk Line.  Errol Vincent will lead our 3.5km walk along the Coach Road from Ohakune up to the recently restored old Hapuawhenua Viaduct.  A walk suitable for all the family, but bring warm clothing.
